Science School Information

Please see the information below if you would like to have your child attend Science School.

Science School is organised in order to promote the scientific and technological knowledge and development and sharing sprit through science and technology for Korean youth in Europe. The Science School is designed to provide a venue where participants can perform scientific projects with Group A (Age under 12) and Group B (Age from 12), aiming at developing an appropriate technology application for the needed communities in the world. All participants will also have opportunity to participate in visit programme.
General Information
  • Science School is available only for EKC 2024 participants' childen.
  • Science School programme runs on 31 July and 1 August for two days.
  • There are two groups Group A (6 < Age < 12) and Group B (Age >= 12).
  • There is an orientation in the afternoon on 30 July.
Registration
  • Science school registration can be done at the same time that EKC2024 participants' registration by selecting Science School option.
  • The EKC 2024 registraiton will be open on 1st March.
  • If you have applied for science school, you must provide your child's information via EKC 2024 system. The child's information entry menu will appear automatically.
Payment
  • The cost of Science School is 50 GBP, inclding lunch for two days, transportation for visit programme and Science School shirt.
  • Science School cancellation policy follows EKC 2024 cancellation policy.

Coventry Transport Museum

Coventry Transport Museum (formerly known as the Museum of British Road Transport) is a transport museum, located in Coventry city centre, England. It houses the largest collection of British-made road transport held in public ownership. It is located in Coventry because the city was previously the centre of the British car industry. There are more than 240 cars and commercial vehicles, 100 motorcycles, 200 bicycles. The ever-changing temporary exhibitions feature motor cars, commercial vehicles, cycles and motorcycles from the museums own collection and beyond. The museum offers activities ranging from engineering challenges to scientific experiments.
